Montfort School, Chinnakanal, is situated in the High Ranges in Idukki District of Kerala, away from the noisy world, amidst tea gardens and high scrapes rocks. It is a place of natural beauty and serine calmness in God’s own Land, overlooking the Anaiyirangal Dam. A poet would love the settings and pen memorable verses from his heart on seeing such a lovely topography.

The History of our school began in 1994, when the Montfort Brothers began their search for a new land to start a Residential English Medium School in Kerala.

The pioneers, the late Bro. P.J. Abraham, Bro. Antony Francisco along with Bro. Joseph Louis bought the present site for the school in 1994.  The school was started on 15 the July 1998.
